Week of November 11

MATH – This week we will be exploring the relationship between multiplication and division in lesson 11.  Please make sure that you continue practicing the multiplication facts with your child at home.

ELA: This week we will be working on Unit 3 Week 1 in our Wonders program. Below is an outline of what we are learning in class. Our emphasis will be on summarizing the text to work on identifying the central idea and key details.

MATH – We are moving on to lesson 10 and it is our very first division lesson!!  Please make sure that you continue practicing the multiplication facts with your child at home.

ELA: This week we will be working on Unit 2 Week 5 in our Wonders program. Below is an outline of what we are learning in class. Our emphasis will be on comprehending figurative language to understand poetry. We will also be working on our unit 2 assessment! We will take most of it together and part of it independently and use it as a chance to learn some testing strategies as well as review all we have learned.
